The number displayed in the parentheses on each button indicates the number of
available documents for that Case Flow Process. A zero (0) indicates no
documents available. Definitions for each Case Flow Process can be viewed by

| Initial Action: |
First Decision regarding a request for land use changes. The
Action includes a Decision Document (including findings),Recommendations,
Corrections, Letters, etc. The first action may be by the Director of Planning,
Zoning Administrators, Area Planning Commissions, or the City Planning
Commission.

| Appeal Actions:
|
Actions Taken by the entity responsible for handling first or
second level appeals. Depending on the case type, the appeal action can be made
by the City Council, City Planning Commission, or one of the seven Area
Planning Commissions.

| Other Actions:
|
Some cases require action or special review by Planning,other
City departments or outside legislative stakeholders. Examples are Mayor,City
Council review, or Coastal Commissions. |
| Plan Approval Process:
|
Approval of Plans resulting from previous actions or plans
required by the Los Angeles Municipal Code.
|
| Approved Plans:
|
All signed and/or approved plans and exhibits (including
revisions) related to a case. |
